Recipe #1
Red cayenne pepper-This is a strong detoxification agent. It works well along with lemon juice.
Maple syrup-You can use this to help sweeten your colon cleanse mixture so it goes down easier. It is also said to have some natural detox benefits.
Lemon juice-You can use this substance with the cayenne pepper to detoxify your system. It helps with the flushing part along with the filtered water. The minerals and nutrients in it are also essential for cleansing and keeping the body in tact.
Filtered water-Your system needs a good cleansing and so this helps you flush it out. It also keeps you lubricated so you are more regular.
Mixing Instructions
The above ingredients are mixed per serving according to the following proportions:
- 1/10 tsp. Red cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- 10 oz. of filtered water
- 2 tbsp. Maple syrup
Recipe #2
Two common ingredients used for making a colon cleanse at home include psyllium and bentonite clay. These are the same components of many popular products on the market.
All you need to do is mix 1 tbsp. of the bentonite clay and 1 teaspoon of psyllium powder and drink it once a day. You could also find a product w/these ingredients.
Recipe #3
This one is much like Recipe #1, containing the same ingredients with one exception: lime juice instead of lemon juice.
Furthermore, it calls for 12 oz. of hot water versus just the filtered water. You also can choose to add some type of fibrous ingredient to it such as perhaps bentonite clay or psyllium husk.
However, note that these ingredients (the clay or husk) would not dissolve clear. If you want something that dissolves clear you may instead want to seek alternative ingredients or just use a fiber product that works well with clear liquids.
